Grand Staircase & Fountain

The restoration of the historic grand staircase and fountain at the Dayton Art Institute has dramatically enhanced the image and appearance of the museum’s public face. The grand staircase was closed to the public in 2011 and the fountains had been inoperable since the late 1960s. The scope of work included repairing the structural slab, cleaning and repairing masonry, and installing new fountain equipment.
